Case studies

A local entrepreneur, Mr. Andrew Nutton of Oakfield Developments (Yorkshire) Ltd. is a regular customer, requiring our services for site clearance, removal of debris, digging footings, concreting, etc.

Local councillor Mr. Mel Munday is another satisfied customer as he now has a secure compound in Slaithwaite in which to keep vintage buses and other vehicles, thanks to the erection of a metal-paled fence by Chris Wise Plant Hire. The site was cleared of debris, the holes for the upright fence posts dug and concreted and the remaining fence panels fitted by our team to a tight schedule as the lease was up on the previous premises.

Local businessman Mr. Lee Fox of Foxlea Developments Ltd. has been thouroughly satisfied with the progress of footings for the six houses on his building site, so much so that he has asked us to undertake further work on site including thedrainage connections, kerbing and roadway. This follows an enquiry solely for the site clearance as work commenced.

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Welsh of Upper Heaton are neighbours who were delighted with their new block paved parking space. The large paved area has made best use of the available space in front of the cottage and the delightful stone wall surrounding the boundary makes a lovely backdrop, much more pleasing to the eye than the previous mis-matched stonework. The whole effect is nicely rounded off with the block-paved causeway incorporating a cleverly disguised manhole cover by the steps, showing our attention to detail.

Another local family, the Hobsons, were the first in the area to have their parking space formed and block paved by Chris Wise Plant Hire and are thouroughly satisfied with the way it has stood up to much use and is still looking as good as new. The quality of workmanship is evident in the way that water runs away from the garden and the correct composition of materials has resulted in a firm base that shows no parking ruts.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Spurr of Waterloo had their garden fence replaced by us and also a new patio built, incorporating the building of the retaining wall, steps and flagging, also including the inbuilt lighting. They are delighted with the result and are looking forward to work commencing on the front driveway as they have asked us back.
